What is an aligner?
An aligner is a transparent, removable aligner that has been custom-made from a digital or traditional dental impression.
How does aligner treatment work?
With aligner treatment, teeth are moved gradually, invisibly and virtually painlessly. During treatment, you should change aligners every 10 days. Each aligner has a slightly different shape from the one before it. This allows light, precise pressure to be applied to move teeth millimetre by millimetre until the final smile is achieved.
How much does a Smyline treatment cost ?
Smyline’s mission is to democratize access to invisible orthodontic treatment in France. It’s with this objective in mind that we offer aligners that are accessible to as many people as possible. However, every treatment is different, and requires a personalized quote based on a dental diagnosis.
Our treatments start at around 2000€, which is one of the best value for money on the market.
How do I start a Smyline treatment ?
To start a Smyline treatment, you need to visit one of our partner dental practices. You will be given a full diagnosis of your mouth (3D scans and panoramic X-ray), which will enable us to assess your eligibility for Smyline treatments. If you are eligible, our team will create a treatment plan tailored to your needs and expectations. Once approved by you, the aligners are produced and shipped to your dentist. Your dentist will return the aligners to you, and you can begin your Smyline treatment.
How long does a treatment last ?
The duration of treatment with aligners depends on the complexity of the case. For mild corrections, treatment can be completed in as little as 3 months. On average, treatments last between 6 and 18 months.
What are the advantages of Smyline aligners ?

How often should I visit my Smyline dentist once I've started treatment?
Your partner dentist will advise you on the frequency of your visits, depending on the complexity of your case. However, our totally free application allows you to stay connected with our team and track the progress of your smile.
Is Smyline treatment painful ?
No, aligner treatments are considered painless. However, when changing aligners, you may feel some pressure on the teeth (this is a sign that the treatment is working and the teeth are moving). En principe cette pression disparait en quelques heures.
What happens after treatment ?
Once treatment is complete, you’ll need to wear a brace to stabilize your new smile. These retainers are to be worn only at night for 1 year. They are included in your Smyline treatment.
Are crowns a problem for Smyline treatment ?
No. Tell your dentist about any crowns or implants you may have. The treatment plan will take this information into account and assess your eligibility for Smyline aligners.
Can Smyline treatment close gaps ?
Of course. He can move your teeth closer together and close any gaps that may be too large.
Since my braces were removed, my teeth have shifted. Can Smyline treatment correct this ?
If you had braces when you were younger and your teeth have moved since then, Smyline aligners may be a good solution. Aligners allow you to move, straighten and align your teeth. At your first appointment and after analyzing your teeth, our partner practitioner will be able to tell you whether this solution is suitable for your current dentition.
Are aligners suitable for all ages ?
Smyline treatments are available to anyone over the age of 18 . However, to be on the safe side, we do not recommend it for pregnant women or people taking certain medications .
