How do my teeth move?
How do aligners work?
Our aligners are arranged in pairs (top and bottom) in numbered bags.
Each set of aligners corresponds to a micro-movement that progressively moves the whole dentition in a balanced and stable way.
The set of aligners included in the treatment allows you to gradually achieve your new smile.
When should I wear my aligners ?
You must wear your aligners every day, continuously (22 hours a day, 24 hours a day). You change sets of aligners every 10 days according to the established treatment plan (unless otherwise indicated by your dentist).
In other words, if you start your treatment on the 5th of the month, you switch to aligners number 2 on the 15th of the same month, i.e. 10 days after the start of treatment.
From our app, a calendar and notifications will alert you to make the most of each stage of your treatment.
And once the treatment is over ?
Once you’ve worn all your aligners, it’s important to stabilize and perpetuate your smile.
To do this, you need to wear retainers for one year. These are worn only at night and are included in your treatment.
Your dentist may also suggest a restraint line.
My Aligner routine

I get up, I have my aligners in my mouth.

For breakfast, I remove them.

After brushing my teeth and aligners, I reposition them. An operation that must be repeated at every meal (I promise, you'll get the hang of it).

I want a coffee or a soda. I remove my aligners to avoid staining and to keep the sugar from the drink between the aligners and my teeth. I rinse my aligners and reposition them.

I smile, no one sees a thing

I go to bed, good night ! Of course, I keep my aligners in my mouth.

What is the best way to clean my aligners ?
Aligner maintenance is simple, but needs to be done on a regular basis. Every time you remove your aligners, we recommend rinsing them with clean water. You can also scrub them with a soft toothbrush and even apply a dab of toothpaste.
Are there any dietary restrictions during treatment ?
None. Since you have to remove your aligners to eat, you can swallow whatever you like.

Do aligners affect speech ?
They may cause a slight lisp at first, but this soon fades.
Can I smoke while wearing aligners ?
We don’t recommend smoking with your aligners. Smoking may stain the aligners.
Can I chew gum while wearing aligners ?
No, chewing gum could stick to the aligners. It’s best to remove your aligners for any snack, however small.
